Card made in minutes

Today I made a quick, easy and simple card.

I first blended 4 Altenew colors from the Sweet Dreams mini ink cube set and embossed this piece of paper with the Next Level Geometric embossing folder.
I adhered this to my card base and stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts.
As a finishing touch I also added some Nuvo drops around the sentiment.

Guest Designer at The Male Room #108

I'm so happy to be the guest designer of The Male Room spring challenge this week!

It was a bit of a challenge because I didn't have an idea for a male spring card.
I searched my stash but couldn't find any spring stamp suitable for men. I do have some spring flower stamps but I couldn't use that for a man. So I used a birdhouse svg file from Getsilvered (with some small changes) and stamped the Winnie & Walter wooden background on top of it. The little bird is from Wplus9.

 
For the background of my card I was inspired by a video from Jennifer McGuire where I saw her using the Leafy Frame stencil from SSS. I used Cracked Pistachio and Evergreen Bough distress oxide ink.

The sentiment is actually a combination of 2 svg files from Miss Kate Cuttables. I made 2 layers to give it some dimension and used foam squares to adhere the birdhouse.

Guest Designer of Colours & Sketches challenge #315

I'm super excited to be the Guest Designer for CAS Colours & Sketches for the month of April! I was chosen from all the weekly winners during the month of February so I'm very honored to be their Guest Designer this month! It's actually my first time ever as a Guest Designer :)

The colors of this challenge are colors I don't usually use so it was a bit tricky.
I used Altenew's Fine Frame rectangles die and didn't use it to die cut but embossed it to create a frame. Maybe it isn't clear on the photo but it is there :p
I stamped some crocus flowers from Pretty Pink Posh and colored them with Copic markers. The small sentiment is from SSS.

Freshly Made Sketches 381

I'm playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge 381 today. 
I immediately knew I wanted to use the colors mint and gold.

I started with a border on the right where I used the Pointed Out Stencil from Reverse Confetti and heat embossed a strip with gold embossing powder.

In the left corner I stamped the Beautiful Bloom stamp from MFT and also heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.

Finally I added the sentiment strip with a Dutch stamp from Het Scrapbook Atelier.

Less Is More - Take 3

For the Less Is More challenge - Take 3 I used the flower from Concord & 9th's Hello Lovely stamp set and cut it out by hand. I colored them with my favorite Copic Markers colors and this is what happened in my craft room.

I made a card today for Lena, one of my godchildren. She's already turning one in a couple of weeks! Time flies :p
