Missees By Karin Joan - It's your birthday!

Happy Monday!

My card for today features different Missees products from Karin Joan.

First I made the banner. I used paper elements from A5STANSBLOKKJ04 and adhered them to a piece of gold twine.

I used a slimline die from Carlijn Design and pierced two wholes in the  upper corners. I added the twine and taped it at the back of the front panel.
Next I matted this piece to another piece of pink cardstock.

Then I used foam tape to adhere the Missee, which is a paper element from
A5STANSBLOKKJ03. The flowers are from the same paper elements and are colored with Copic markers.

Next I stamped the sentiment from
STAMPKJ09 with Versamark and heat set this with gold embossing powder.

Finally I adhered the front card to the card base, where I used patterned paper from PPKJ03.

Rachel Vass Designs - Spring Flowers Slimline

Hi crafty friends!

Today I'm sharing a card made using the Spring Flowers slimline digital stamp set from the March release from RachelVassDesign. I love these flowers!

Rachel Vass Designs - Spring Flowers Slimline

I used the print and cut function in my Silhouette Cameo to cut out these flowers. They were print on watercolor paper and colored with Zig markers.

I printed the sentiment from the same digital set on the card front and added some ink splatters on it. I adhered the flowers to the card front and cut off the excess.

For the card base I used the Slim diagonal stitched rectangles from Pinkfresh Studio.

Congrats

Happy Saturday!

Today I combined the colors from Altenew's March Inspiration Challenge and the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches to create this card.

I first started with a really simple technique I saw at Channin Pelletier's youtube channel. She uses
ink and a credit card to create a background but I wanted to try this technique for the flower and leaves of my card.
When the ink was dry I stamped the outlines of the Grateful Heart set with Altenew Obsidian Black ink and die cut them with the coordinating dies.

Next I stamped the background of the card with the Dotted Diamonds stamp from Altenew. I made a diagonal mask and first stamped the background with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink and then I changed the mask and stamped the same stamp with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink.

Then I made a square border and adhered it with foam tape to create some dimension. I also adhered the flower and leaves with foam tape.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from the Label Love set with Altenew Obsidian Black ink and adhered this with foam tape.

Let's Celebrate

Happy Friday!

Today I'm sharing a card made for the current challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches #411.

I used the Flower Flourish die from Penny Black and colored it with Copic makers. I actually stacked it twice to create some dimension and added a gem stone in the middle.

Then I used purple tape to create a mask and blended some Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink in the left corner as a background for the flower.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from Impression Obsession with Versafine Onyx Black.

Rachel Vass Designs - Freshly Picked

Hi crafty friends!

Today I'm featuring the Freshly Picked digital stamp set from the March release from Rachel Vass Designs.

Rachel Vass Designs - Freshly Picked

I first used the print and cut function in my Silhouette Cameo to cut out this floral image. It was printed on watercolor paper and colored with Zig markers.

Then I used some matching Distress Oxide inks and blended them onto a piece of cardstock. I used a circle die which was slightly bigger than the flowers and used a Gemstone embossing folder to give this some dimension.

When assembling my card I used foam tape for the blended strip and the flowers and adhered the other part of the circle behind the flowers.

The sentiment is from the same digital set and was also print and cut.

Missees By Karin Joan - Beterschap

Hi crafty friends,

For this get well card I used several products from the Missees collection from Karin Joan.

I first adhered a small stroke of washi tape (WASHIKJ03) to a piece of cardstock and stamped the sentiment from STAMPKJ10 with Versafine Onyx Black.

As my front card has scalloped edges and is not straight I
adhered a Missee from the Paper Elements (A5STANSBLOKKJ03) and the heart banner from A5STANSBLOKKJ04 temporarily to the card front.
Then I used a scalloped edge slimline die from Carlijn Design to die cut everything together and adhered this to the card base.

Finally I adhered the heart banner to the card front and used foam tape for the Missee to create some dimension.

Happy Friday!

For this card I first stamped the butterflies (BASICSDCKJ03) with Versafine Onyx Black onto different colors of colored cardstock from the Blissful paper pad (PPKJ04) and die cut them.

Then I added some sequins (SEQUINKJ04) into a crafting bag (BAGKJ01).

Rachel Vass Designs - Ruffle Flowers Background

Happy Wednesday!

It's the 3rd of the month so it's release day over at RachelVassDesigns!  She has done it again and this release is filled with some beautiful floral!

This card is made using the Ruffle Flowers Background digital stamp from Rachel Vass Designs.

Rachel Vass Designs - Romantic Ruffle Background

I was inspired by the 'I Love You' sentiment from this digital release so I decided to create a heart on my card.
I played in my Silhouette Studio and modified the Romantic Ruffle Background to a heart shape. I added the sentiment and printed this.

Then I
used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the heart shaped stencil in which I  stenciled the Gradiating Stripes from Pinkfresh Studio with Distress Oxide inks.

Rachel Vass Designs - Calla Lilies

Hi crafty friends,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend so far.  Today I am back to share my 4th card for RachelVassDesign's February release called Calla Lilies.

Rachel Vass Designs - Calla Lilies

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the calla lilies partly. On the right part I stamped the Crackle Background from SSS with Manatee Lawn Fawn ink.
On the left part I colored the lilies with Copic markers.
The I stacked 2 layers of the lilies to create some dimension and adhered the 2 pieces together on the card base.

AAA Birthday Challenge #23 - Patterned Paper

Hello everyone!

Today we are starting the March challenge over at AAA Birthday and the theme this month is to use patterned paper.

 AAA Birthday Challenge

I made this pop up diamond shaped card.

pop up diamond fold card

pop up diamond fold card

I first searched for a template which can be found here. Then I searched for a youtube tutorial. I find it's easier to create a card like this when you can see how it's assembled. And it's actually not that difficult to make :-)

I used design paper from Craft Sensations and the butterfly is die cut with the Detail Meadow Butterfly die from SSS.

The sentiment is also from SSS and is stamped with Versamark and heat set with white embossing powder. I used foam tape behind the butterfly to create some dimension.

Do hop over to AAA Birthday blog as we have the talented Guest Designer Colien  with a great inspirational card and play along by entering your lovely creations.
