AAA Birthday Challenge #35 - Under the Sea

Happy Monday!

It’s time for a new challenge at the AAA Birthday Blog. This time we challenge you to create a birthday card with an 'Under the sea' theme.

I first stamped the fish from MFT with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic markers. I also used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Then I used masking tape to create a border for my background.
I first stamped the bubble background from Whimsy Stamps with Versamark and heat set it with white embossing powder. Then I blended Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink and removed the masking tape.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from SSS and heat set it with white embossing powder. I used foam tape to adhere the sentiment and the fish to the card to create some dimension.

Freshly Made Sketches #513

My today's card is based on the sketch from FMS #513.

I first stamped the branch with the cute Tweeties from Whimsy Stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored it with Copic markers and cut it out by hand.

Next I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out a card panel, colored it with Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide ink and adhered this onto the card base. I used the Filigree Snowflakes embossing folder from SSS and adhered this piece on top.

Then I stamped the sentiment from The Greetery with Versamark en heat set it with white embossing powder.

Finally I adhered the tweeties and the sentiment with foam tape to create some dimension.

AAA Birthday Challenge #31 - Animals

Happy Monday!

We have a new fun challenge over at AAA Birthday! This month we challenge you to create a card featuring animals.

For my card I first stamped the donkey from Whimsy Stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut it out by hand and colored it with Copic markers.

Next I adhered the design paper onto the card base and I also stamped the sentiment from IO onto the card base.

I die cut 3 circles and colored 2 of them with a matching Copic marker. I adhered them together and added the donkey with foam tape to create some dimension.
