Christmas Missee

Hello!

Today I'm sharing a Christmas Missee!

I die cut the head from Betty which is the base set.
For the hair I used the dies from Carol.
The eyes are from Melanie and the mouth is also from Carol.
The bow in her hair is from Tasha. Here I used patterned paper from

Studio Light (PPSL156) as well as for her clothes.

I stamped and die cut the earrings from the
Studio Light stamp and die (BASICS DC17) and colored them with a gold marker.

Finally I adhered a piece of patterned paper from
Studio Light (PPSL156) onto the card base and adhered the Missee on top.
The sentiment is also from the paper pad from
Studio Light (PPSL156).

Missees By Karin Joan - Hallo! Hoe gaat het met jou?

Hi all!

With this card I wanted to show you how easy it is to create your own patterned paper.

Then I stamped the first part of the sentiment (from
STAMPKJ11) with Versamark and heat set it with white embossing powder.

Rachel Vass Designs - Leafy Floral

Hi crafty friends!

In my today's post I want to show you a card I created with the Leafy Floral digital stamp from Rachel Vass Designs.

For this card I first used the print and cut function in my Silhouette Studio for the flowers. I used Copic markers to color the image.

I wanted to create a slimline card so I used a stitched slimline die from Carlijn Design for the card base.
Next I used some masking tape to create a mask at the top of the card and  blended Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink. This way the card keeps it's CAS look.

Finally I adhered the florals and the sentiment to the card.

Hello, how are you?

Hi crafty friends,

Here I have a new card to share with you featuring the Missees line from Karin Joan. I also have a short poem that fits the card:

Every time you see a butterfly,
a touch of hapiness will cross your mind.
It will open your heart to the joy of life
and make your thoughts fly the path of future,
luck and prosperity.
Let this card be your good-luck charm that will cheer you up when you are having a tough time!

I first stamped the butterflies from Betty with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. To stamp them I did some masking and colored them with Copic markers. Next I partially cut them out by hand to create a border.

Next I used a crafting bag and filled it with sequins. I trimmed off the excess and used double sided sticky tape to close it. I then adhered this at the back of the butterflies. Behind this crafting bag I adhered a patterned paper from the Mixed Paper Pad.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from STAMPKJ08 with Lagoon and Cotton Candy Altenew ink.

AAA Birthday Challenge #20 - Twinkle

Hi crafty friends!

It's december so that means it's the last AAA birthday challenge for 2020!
We challenge you to create a card with theme 'Twinkle'.

To end this miserable year on a high, this challenge will be sponsored by Joy Clair.  They are offering two $15 credits to be spent on digital products!

For my card I first colored a piece of cardstock with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. I used this to die cut the outline of the letters.
Then I die cut the letters again out of gold glitter paper.

Next I die cut the border from SSS on both sides of a piece of black cardstock and adhered the letters in the middle of it.
I stamped the sentiment, which is also from SSS, with Versamark en heat set this with gold embossing powder.
I used the same blue colored cardstock as a background for this piece.

Finally I used a piece of patterned paper from Studio Light, adhered this to the card base and adhered the black piece with the sentiment on top.

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year

Happy Saturday!

I got some time to make a card today and of course I had to make a Christmas card ;-)

I combined 2 challenges for this one, I used the sketch from
CAS(e) This Sketch #400 and Uniko Challenge #62.

I first stamped the flower with Altenew ink. As the optional twist of the Uniko Challenge is Sparkle, I added some clear sparkle embossing powder on top. I cut this flower out by hand and colored the inside with a Copic marker.

Then I stamped the leaves on the card base with Grass Field Altenew ink.

Next I drew some black lines with a black marker and stamped the sentiment from the Season Of Beauty set from Uniko with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Finally I adhered the flower on top of the leaves and lines with foam squares to create some dimension.

Missees By Karin Joan - Leuk, het is jou gelukt!

Hi crafty friends!

For this card I started with the graphic background.
I used the earring die from Carol and die cut several
geometric shapes. I glued them to my background coloring some of them with a Copic marker.

Then I used a Missee from the Paper Elements and adhered her with foam tape to create some dimension.

For the sentiment I stamped one part from STAMPKJ11 with Antique Gold Altenew ink inside the speech bubble (from A5STANSBLOKKJ03) and adhered it with foam tape. I stamped the other part of the sentiment with the same ink parallel to the geometric background.
