AAA Birthday Challenge #34 - Pattern

Happy Monday!

We kicked off a new challenge today over on the AAA Birthday Challenge blog.
We invite you to create a card with a beautiful pattern.

Clean, simple and masculine. That's how I would describe my card for this challenge.

I used the Pattern Power stamp from Altenew and used 3 Altenew colors: Dusk, Ocean Waves and Teal Cave.

The sentiment is from Happy HB die from SSS and is stacked 2 times to create some dimension.

It's the first AAA Birthday Challenge of 2022 and we challenge you to create a birthday card featuring your 2 favourite colours.


To celebrate the New Year, new beginnings and new blog colours AAA Birthday and AAA Cards are having a micro blog hop.

For my card I chose 2 Distress Oxide colors: Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers.
I blended these colors onto a piece of cardstock and used the Cosmo Flower Petals from SSS to cut out the leaves.

Then I used the same 2 colors to stamp the dotted background which is from Altenew.
I adhered this background onto the cardbase and used foam tape to adhere the flower.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from IO with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I created this diamond easel card.

 

 

I stamped the flower and leaves with Altenew inks and matched it with the paper which is also from Altenew.

The sentiment is from Ink Blot Shop and is stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Rachel Vass Designs - Winter Flower Spray

Happy Sunday!

There's nothing more fun than a shaker card so I used Rachel's Winter Flower Spray digital stamp to create this one!

I first used the print and cut function in my Silhouette Cameo and colored it with Copic markers.

Then I stamped the sentiment from Altenew with black Stazon ink onto the clear acetate. When the ink was dry I adhered the acetate on the backside of the frame and added foam tape around it. I added the sequins and adhered everything together.

Freshly Made Sketches #507

Here's my entry for Freshly Made Sketches #507 challenge.

I first stamped the Fabulous Florets with Altenew ink. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out but then decided to cut them out by hand so there is no offset.

I adhered a piece of yellow patterned paper from Altenew onto the card base and adhered a piece of white cardstock on top.

I stamped the sentiment which is also from Altenew with Versafine Onyx Black ink and adhered everything with foam tape to create some dimension.

Happy Birthday Neva!

Hi all!

My little niece is turning 3 and she loves glitter and pink. So I made her a CAS birthday card containing these elements :-)

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the number 3 (font: Engravers MT) and made a strip from the same patterned paper.
I also cut out a star from gold glitter paper by using my Silhouette machine.

I adhered them on a pink circle which I die cut with a circle die.

For the background I used the Dotted Scales Debossing cover die from Altenew and I love the pierced details on this one.

AAA Birthday Challenge #26 - Flowers

Hi all!

Good morning! I hope you guys are having an awesome week and are ready to join us for a fun new challenge over at AAA Birthday.
I had a great time with this challenge because flower cards are my favorite :-)

For this card I used the Peony Dream 3D die from Altenew and die cut the pieces out of colored cardstock. I colored the leaves with Bamboo and Parrot Altenew ink.

The background is the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover die from Altenew. I really love this subtile background.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from the Label Love set with Altenew Obsidian Black pigment ink and adhered everything with foam tape to the card base.

Rachel Vass Designs - Spring Daffodils

Today I'm sharing a card I made with the Spring Daffodils digital stamp from Rachel Vass Designs. These flowers look so gorgeous!

I first used the print and cut function in my Silhouette Studio for the flowers and colored them with Copic markers.

I printed the sentiment from the same digital set on a piece of paper and used a rectangle die to cut the panel.
I then colored this piece with Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink and stamped the dotted diamonds stamp from Altenew with Rusty Hinge on top of it.

Finally I added the flowers with foam tape t create som dimension.

Altenew April 2021 Inspiration Challenge

Today I'm sharing a card featuring Altenew's Wild Hibiscus stamp set.
The colors are inspired by the April challenge from Altenew.

I first stamped the flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Next I colored them with Copic markers.

Then I stamped the splatters from MFT as a background by using Lavender Field Altenew ink.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from Altenew's Label Love set with Altenew Obsidian Black pigment ink and adhered everything with foam tape to create some dimension.

Birthday Butterflies

I spent some time in my craft room today and made this card base on a sketch and color challenge.

I first stamped the butterflies from Uniko and colored them with Copic markers.

Then I used the Dotted Swirls Debossing die from Altenew on a piece of craft cardstock. I also used a slimline border die from Sunny Studio to match the sketch from FMS.
The sentiment is from Mama Elephant.

Finally I adhered the pieces with foam tape to create some dimension.

Today I combined the colors from Altenew's March Inspiration Challenge and the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches to create this card.

I first started with a really simple technique I saw at Channin Pelletier's youtube channel. She uses ink and a credit card to create a background but I wanted to try this technique for the flower and leaves of my card.
When the ink was dry I stamped the outlines of the Grateful Heart set with Altenew Obsidian Black ink and die cut them with the coordinating dies.

Next I stamped the background of the card with the Dotted Diamonds stamp from Altenew. I made a diagonal mask and first stamped the background with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink and then I changed the mask and stamped the same stamp with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink.

Then I made a square border and adhered it with foam tape to create some dimension. I also adhered the flower and leaves with foam tape.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from the Label Love set with Altenew Obsidian Black ink and adhered this with foam tape.
