I used the colors from the Color Hues challenge to create this card.

I first die cut the fine frame using the Fine Frames cover die from Altenew and then die cut the leaves from Simply Graphic.

For the background in this frame I used some strips I found in my stash and colored them with brown and orange Copic markers. Next I adhered the leaves on top.

I adhered a piece of brown cardstock onto the card base and also added the frame.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts with Versamark and heat set it with white embossing powder.

Rachel Vass Designs - Tumbling Leaves

My today's post features 2 cards I made with the Tumbling Leaves set from Rachel Vass Designs.

For the first card I colored the bottom part with Copic markers and used the Sizzix Tim Holtz 3D Botanical embossing folder for the top part. I also used my Silhouette Cameo to print and cut one flower from this set.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

My second card is a CAS card.
I colored the top part with Copic markers and printed the sentiment from this Tumbling Leaves set on the bottom part.
I also added a pink glitter strip to add some sparkle.

For my today's card I used up some leftovers.

I first used the Outline Clustered Leaves from SSS which I found in my stash and colored it with a yellow Copic marker.

I then blended Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink from dark to light on a piece of cardstock. I added this to the kraft cardbase and used it as a background for the leaves.

Finally I thought there was something missing so I added a black frame from Altenew which I also found in my stash.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts and is stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.
I also added some enamel dots as a finishing touch.

Rings and splatters

For this card I was inspired by Janet from Swanlady Impressions. You can find her card here. Go check out her blog as she creates beautiful cards!

For my card I first stamped the woodgrain background from Viva Decor with Jellyfish Lawn Fawn Ink which is a very soft ink.

Next I masked off a part of the rings stamp because I only wanted to use 6 rings based on the Inspired By challenge. I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and added some color with 6 different Copic markers also based on the colors of the Inspired By challenge.

I wanted to add some extra paint splatters around the rings so I used the splatters stencil from Tim Holtz and Memento Tuxedo Black.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts with Versafine Onyx Black.

Floral Art birthday card

Happy Saturday!

Today I made a card based in the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #434 and the colors from Color Throwdown #592.

I first did some watercolor smooshing on a piece of watercolor paper and then stamped the outline of the big flower from Altenew with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. I used the coordinating die to cut it out.

Next I stamped the leaves with Silver Stone Altenew ink.
I adhered the flower to the card base with foam squares to give it some dimension and also heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder.
