Lately it feels like I lost my mojo but luckily a couple of challenges provided just the inspiration I needed to be creative again!
For my today's card I combined 2 challenges. I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #471 and the colors from Altenew's February 2021 Inspiration Challenge.

Rachel Vass Designs - Snowflakes background #2

Hi all!

I made this card with a gold foiled leftover from my previous card.
This time I blended the background with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink.

I adhered this to the card base and also adhered a small strip of gold glitter paper.

Next I die cut 2 snowflakes from Poppy Stamps. I colored one of these snowflakes with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink and heat embossed the other one with gold embossing powder. Then I adhered them togeter.

The sentiment is from The Greetery and is stamped with Teal Cave Altenew ink.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #394

Happy friday!

This card is my entry for CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #394.

I used the Little Gingerbread Boy die from Poppystamps and colored the clothes with Copic markers.

Then I blended 3 matching Distress Oxide colors on the edges of the card base.
I used the Diagonal Stitches Cover Panel Die from Reverse Confetti for the card front and adhered this onto the card base.

Finally I adhered the gingerbread boys and added the sentiment from Altenew with foam tape for dimension.

CAS(E) this Sketch #395

Hi crafty friends!

I'm popping in with a Christmas card I created for CAS(E) this Sketch #395 at the last moment.

I first colored a piece of cardstock with Ruby Red Altenew ink and die cut the poinsettia from SSS.
Then I used Shadow Creek Altenew ink to color another piece of cardstock and die cut several pine needles from Poppystamps.

On my card base I used purple tape and a circle die to create a mask and stamped the Christmas background from MFT with Silver Stone Altenew ink.
I also stamped the sentiment from Altenew with Industrial Diamond Altenew ink.

I removed the purple tape and circle mask and arranged the pine needles to create the wreath but it was not perfectly round. To solve this, I first made a frame from 2 circle dies and then adhered the pine needles onto the frame.

I also adhered the poinsettia and added a rhinestone on top op it.

Christmas in September

Happy Sunday!

When I saw the sketch from CAS(e) this Sketch #388 I thought let's make a Chrismas in September card ;-)

I first die cut the pine needles from Poppy Stamps and colored them with Copic markers.

Then I stamped the sentiment from Altenew with Silver Stone Altenew ink and used a label die from Lawn Fawn to cut it out.
I used a gray Copic marker to color the edge of this label.

Finally I added the ribbon, arranged the pine needles and adhered the label with foam tape to create some dimension.

I used the Curvy Heart Side Strips die from Poppystamps for the front of my card and blended Crimson and Velvet Altenew ink on the background of my card.
The sentiment is from Altenew and is heat set with Silver embossing powder.

Hi crafty friends!

I recently bought some new dies from Poppy Stamps and here is the CAS card I made this morning!

I used the Samba Heart Border die for the small hearts and colored the bigger heart (Hanging Heart die) with a red Copic Marker. Because the small hearts are white and don't have much contrast, I added some small rhinestones between them.

The sentiment is from Avery Elle and is stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.
