AAA Birthday Challenge #17 - Animals & Critters

Good morning! I hope you guys are having an awesome week and are ready to join us for a fun new challenge over at AAA Birthday!
This time we challenge you to make a birthday card featuring animals and critters.

 

I first used a circle die to create a mask.

For the background I used the Waves stencil from SSS and 2 distress oxide inks; Mermaid Lagoon and Salty Ocean.

I then stamped the animals and the seaweed with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Lesia Zgharda.

Christmas in September

When I saw the sketch from CAS(e) this Sketch #388 I thought let's make a Chrismas in September card ;-)

I first die cut the pine needles from Poppy Stamps and colored them with Copic markers.

Then I stamped the sentiment from Altenew with Silver Stone Altenew ink and used a label die from Lawn Fawn to cut it out.
I used a gray Copic marker to color the edge of this label.

Finally I added the ribbon, arranged the pine needles and adhered the label with foam tape to create some dimension.

Rachel Vass Designs - Bulb of Flowers

Today is release day at Rachel Vass Designs. She just released the Bulb of Flowers digital set so make sure to check her Etsy shop. There is a 30% off sale in her Etsy shop to celebrate the new Design Team so this is the perfect moment to discover her designs.

My card for today is actually an interactive one inspired by the Z-Fold Spinner card from Jennifer McGuire.

I printed the card base with the sentiment and used the print and cut function in my Silhouette Studio for the bulb.

Next I colored my card base with Ballet Slippers Lawn Fawn ink and stamped the background stamp from SSS with Bubblegum Lawn Fawn ink.

Then I used an oval die to cut out the oval so that the bulb would just fit in.

I colored the bulbs with Copic markers and used a clear thread to adhere it to the card. I really love how it spins!

I stamped the flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with Copic markers.

Next I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black and adhered it to the card base with foam tape to create some dimension.

It's been a while since I made a card for a card challenge but today I had some spare time and made this CAS card.

I first used purple tape to make a mask for the background. I stamped 3 different Altenew ink cube colors in a pattern.

Next I die cut the 3 leaves from Simply Graphic and adhered them to the card.

Finally I die cut the sentiment from SSS and adhered it with foam tape to create some dimension.

Rachel Vass Designs - Summer Fruit Background

Hi crafty friends!

Another digital stamp from Rachel Vass Designs is available today in her Etsy shop! It's called Summer Fruit Background!

I printed the image on a piece of cardstock and colored it with Copic markers.
Then I added a fine black border on top of it and adhered the card front to the card base.

Rachel Vass Designs - Coffee Break Time

Yesterday was release day at Rachel Vass Designs. She released the new Coffee Break Time digital stamp.
As I'm not a coffee drinker this one was a little harder for me to make.

I used the A4 printable sheet which is included in the set, added the sentiment and printed it out.
I colored it with Copic markers and used a stitched rectangle die to cut it out.
Finally I adhered it to the card base.
