Happy Birthday!

Happy Saturday!

For my today's card I used up some leftovers.

I first used the Outline Clustered Leaves from SSS which I found in my stash and colored it with a yellow Copic marker.

I then blended Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink from dark to light on a piece of cardstock. I added this to the kraft cardbase and used it as a background for the leaves.

Finally I thought there was something missing so I added a black frame from Altenew which I also found in my stash.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts and is stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.
I also added some enamel dots as a finishing touch.

AAA Birthday Challenge #19 - For A Child

Hello November!

There's a new challenge at AAA Birthday to play along with. This month our challenge for you is to make a birthday card for a child.

 

For this challenge I created a waterfall card with Missees products from Karin Joan.
I used Paper Elements from A5STANSBLOKKJ03 and A5STANSBLOKKJ04.

The "it's your birthday!" sentiment is from Karin Joan's STAMPKJ09 and is stamped with Versamark and heat set with gold embossing powder.

I added an eyelet and used some twine to pull the waterfall card.

Freshly Made Sketches #459

Hi all!

This month I started creating my Christmas cards and the best way to get some inspiration is participating in card challenges.

Today's card is inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #459 and features the Li'l Gnome from SSS.
I used some patterned paper from Colours Unlimited and stamped the sentiment from The Greetery.

Hi crafty friends!

Here is another fall card featuring the Layered Leaf Prints from Gina K Designs.
I randomly stamped the leaves in different shades of orange Altenew inks.
I love these leaves, they look amazing!
The sentiment is from Pinkfresh Studio and is stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Finally this card front is adhered to a cardstock card base.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #394

Happy friday!

This card is my entry for CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #394.

I used the Little Gingerbread Boy die from Poppystamps and colored the clothes with Copic markers.

Then I blended 3 matching Distress Oxide colors on the edges of the card base.
I used the Diagonal Stitches Cover Panel Die from Reverse Confetti for the card front and adhered this onto the card base.

Finally I adhered the gingerbread boys and added the sentiment from Altenew with foam tape for dimension.

Inkspirational Challenge #224

Hi friends!

When I saw the Inkspirational Photo I immediately had the Winter Woods Overlay die from Hello Bluebird in my mind.

So I first used this overlay die and colored it with a brown Copic marker.
For the grass I used Nellie Snellen's Grass Border.

For the background I used Distress Oxide ink and blended them.

The sentiment is a design (ID 32715) from the Silhouette Store and is cut 3 times and stacked for dimension.

I also added the ghost from Hello Bluebirds Halloween Tree and the pumpkins from the same set.

CAS(E) this Sketch #395

Hi crafty friends!

I'm popping in with a Christmas card I created for CAS(E) this Sketch #395 at the last moment.

I first colored a piece of cardstock with Ruby Red Altenew ink and die cut the poinsettia from SSS.
Then I used Shadow Creek Altenew ink to color another piece of cardstock and die cut several pine needles from Poppystamps.

On my card base I used purple tape and a circle die to create a mask and stamped the Christmas background from MFT with Silver Stone Altenew ink.
I also stamped the sentiment from Altenew with Industrial Diamond Altenew ink.

I removed the purple tape and circle mask and arranged the pine needles to create the wreath but it was not perfectly round. To solve this, I first made a frame from 2 circle dies and then adhered the pine needles onto the frame.

I also adhered the poinsettia and added a rhinestone on top op it.
