AAA Birthday Challenge #25 - Happy Birthday

Hi craft friends!

It's the first monday of the month and that means a new challenge is starting over at AAA Birthday. This month we're celebrating the 2nd birthday of AAA Birthday Challenge so it's a festive challenge where you can win some prizes from several sponsors!

Flag Hunt

We are a multi country DT and have all placed our country's flag on our personal blogs. We'd love for you to go on a flag hunt to discover our countries.

For my card I used one of the sponsor stamps. I used the In Bloom stamp set from Create A Smile and colored the flowers and leaves with Copic markers. Next I cut them out by hand.

As a background of these flowers I stamped a background from Uniko and adhered the flowers with foam tape to create some dimension.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from PTI with Versafine Onyx Black.

Rachel Vass Designs - Floral Heart

Hi all!

Say hello to this month's release from Rachel Vass Designs: Floral Heart.

I used the Floral Heart image from this release, created a background with it and  colored the hearts with Copic markers.

The sentiment is from Create A Smile and Winnie & Walter.

Rachel Vass Designs - Summer Border Slimline

Hi crafty friends,

Today Rachel Vass released a new digital stamp called Summer Border Slimline.

I printed the image onto watercolor paper and used the Cherry Lowercase dies from Create A Smile to cut out the word 'Happy'.

I then added Nuvo Shimmer Powders and spritzed it with water. With the help of a small brush I moved the colors. I also colored the inside of the letters with the same Shimmer Powders.

When all was dry I did the inlay technique and added the letters to the card. I love the shimmery effect although it's not clear in the pictures.

The birthday sentiment is also from Create A Smile and is stacked 3 times for dimension.

Here's a card I created with 2 challenges in mind.

I first stamped the Multifaceted background from Winnie & Walter with Memento Tuxedo Black and randomly colored some parts with a yellow and gray Copic marker.

I then die cut the Daisy Stem from SSS and colored the outline with a darker gray Copic marker. The leaves were colored with the same yellow as the background.

Finally I added a frame and adhered the die cut sentiment from Create A Smile.

Have A Colorful Day

Hi all!

For today's card I was inspired by the colorful Mood Board of Create A Smile.

I stamped the flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black, colored them with Copic markers and cut them out by hand.

Next I stamped the sentiment from Time To Say Thanks with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Then I used the Tiny Bubbles Stencil from Altenew and Cosmic Shimmer Aurora Sparkle Texture Paste to create the background. I love this sparkle effect!
Finally I adhered the flowers and added some colorful buttons to them.

Here I have a new card to share with you today!

First I added some Nuvo Shimmer powders on a piece of water colored paper and spritzed it with water. I let it dry for some time and used the feather die from Your Next Stamp to cut out the feathers. I really love the shimmer effect they have!

I added some gold splatters to the background and arranged the feathers on the card base.

Finally I used a pierced circle die to cut out the golden circle. The sentiment is from Create A Smile. I used foam tape for this circle to create some dimension.

Yesterday I pulled out my Zig markers and made this soft spring tulips card.

I first stamped the tulips from Create A Smile with Versamark and heat set them with white embossing powder. Next I colored them with Zig markers and cut them out by hand.

For the background I randomly stamped the butterfly from the same stamp set and also heat set them with white embossing powder. Next I used a blending brush and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to color the background.
For the butterflies I used a smaller blending brush and Ocean Waves Altenew ink to make them a bit darker.

Finally I created the circle with a pierced circle die and adhered the border of a scallop rectangle die to it . I colored the circle background with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink and adhered everything with foam tape for some dimension.

The sentiment is from the Cool Cuts Tiny Sentiments die set and is stacked 3 times also to create some dimension.

I have a new card to share with you today!

I started with masking off the bottom part of the card and the part on top.
Next I stamped the triangle background with Versafine Onyx Black.

Then I die cut the letters from both black and gold cardstock and mixed them to create the sentiment.

I matted my card on a piece of light colored craft paper and added some gold leftover pieces from the die cut letters.
