Christmas card

It's that time of the year again so last week I spent some time making Christmas cards. This card is a pretty quick card because I used some left overs from the personalized Christmas cards I made earlier. I'll show these cards once they are sent :p

Christmas card

I started with stamping the leaves with Altenew Olive and Memento Bamboo leaves. The pine cone is stamped with Memento Peanut brittle.

I added the circle die which was first blended with Frosty Pink and Rouge from Altenew and stamped witch Festive berries distress ink. I used foam tape to adhere this circle to the card.

Beautiful flowers card

I'm in a romantic mood so I decided to make a red card with black and white as I think these colors match perfectly.

I first stamped the flowers with Versafine black ink and cut it out by hand.
For the background I blended worn lipstick, festive berries and barn door to create a gradient look.

Fish on card

2 days ago my father-in-law turned 70!
I already made him a card but my mother-in-law wanted to give him a fishing line as he likes fishing very much. So I made him a second card :)

Fish on card

I found a cute fish svg file on Pinterest and cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo.
Next I used the waves stencil from SSS and blended 3 blue distress oxide ink colors.
I splattered some water on top of it to get an oxidized look and added some glossy accents. It seems as if the the water droplets are on top of the card :)

Finally I used Black Soot to color the negative space behind the 'Fish on' word to increase the contrast.

Supplies
- Distress oxide ink:
          - Broken China
          - Mermaid Lagoon
          - Blueprint Sketch
          - Black Soot

Waxed card

I'm so busy lately with my work that I have barely time to make cards. But today I found some time to make one. It's a card for my father-in-law who's turning 70 next week.

I used a gear embossing folder on black cardstock and added some gold and silver guilding wax to create a fun effect.

A get-well autumn card

Today I made another card on demand, a get-well card.

Because the weather is changing and the trees get colorful leaves, I was inspired to make an autumn themed card with a warm orange color.

First I stamped the leaves with Versamark and heat set this with white embossing powder.
Next I blended Aged Mahogany on the outside with Spiced Marmelade on the inside of the card.

For the front of the card I die cut 3 balloons. The sentiment is stamped with Memento Black ink and the letters are colored with Chameleon markers.
The second part of the sentiment is stamped with 3 different colors of Altenew ink who matches the colors of the word 'happy.

A fake birth card

A colleague of mine will soon be dad of a baby boy. My father-in-law knows him very well and my colleague told him the name of the baby will be Hypolite :'D
Hahaha and he absolutely believes it lol :)
So he asked me to make a fake birth card just for him.

First I stamped the donkeys with Memento Onyx black ink and colored them with Chameleon markers. Next I cut them out by hand.

Then I took a stroke of petrol cardstock and die cut the name with the alphabet dies from Hero Arts.
I used this stroke as a guide to stamp the letters on a piece of white cardstock with Ocean Waves from Altenew.

Finally I assembled the card and used some foam squares to adhere the donkeys to the card.
