Today I made another card on demand, a get-well card.
Because the weather is changing and the trees get colorful leaves, I was inspired to make an autumn themed card with a warm orange color.
First I stamped the leaves with Versamark and heat set this with white embossing powder.
Next I blended Aged Mahogany on the outside with Spiced Marmelade on the inside of the card.
For the leaves I used a waterbrush to get an oxidized look. I also used Forest Moss to make some leaves a little bit darker.
The sentiment is stamped with Versamark and heat set with white embossing powder.
Supplies
- Craft Sensations - Leaves
- Concord & 9th - Perfectly Penned
- Versamark
- White embossing powder
- Distress oxide ink:
- Spiced Marmelade
- Aged Mahogany
- Forest Moss

Balloon pop-up card
My husbands goldchild is turning 2 next week so I made him a balloon pop-up birthday card.
I die cut the inside of the card with the balloon thinlits and stamped the balloons with Altenew ink.
Next I stamped the sentiment with Versafine black ink on the inside of the card and adhered the inside to the card base.
For the front of the card I die cut 3 balloons. The sentiment is stamped with Memento Black ink and the letters are colored with Chameleon markers.
The second part of the sentiment is stamped with 3 different colors of Altenew ink who matches the colors of the word 'happy.
On this stroke of paper I used a stiched rectangle die on the edges to create a border.
Finally I used foam tape to adhere the balloons to the card.
Supplies
- SU - Balloon adventures + balloon pop-up thinlits
- Altenew ink: - Mountain Mist
- Lagoon
- Fresh lemon
- Industrial diamond
- CZ Design - Birthday palooza
- Versafine black ink
- Memento Black ink
- Foam tape
- Chameleon markers: BG3, BG4, CG8, CG5, YL2
- Stitched rectangle die

A fake birth card
A colleague of mine will soon be dad of a baby boy. My father-in-law knows him very well and my colleague told him the name of the baby will be Hypolite :'D
Hahaha and he absolutely believes it lol :)
So he asked me to make a fake birth card just for him.
First I stamped the donkeys with Memento Onyx black ink and colored them with Chameleon markers. Next I cut them out by hand.
Then I took a stroke of petrol cardstock and die cut the name with the alphabet dies from Hero Arts.
I used this stroke as a guide to stamp the letters on a piece of white cardstock with Ocean Waves from Altenew.
Finally I assembled the card and used some foam squares to adhere the donkeys to the card.
I really enjoyed making this card and I'm curious to know the reaction of my father-in-law when he sees the card :)
Supplies
- Marianne Design - Eline's zebra EC0170
- Chameleon pens: NG4, CG8, CG9, NU0
- Design paper: - Gummiapan light turquoise
- Papicolor cardstock petrol
- Hero Arts Luggage tag alphabet
- Hero Arts Luggage tag alphabet frame cuts
- Altenew ink: Ocean Waves
- Memento onyx black
- Foam squares
