CAS(E) this Sketch #396

Hi crafty friends!

Here is another fall card featuring the Layered Leaf Prints from Gina K Designs.
I randomly stamped the leaves in different shades of orange Altenew inks.
I love these leaves, they look amazing!
The sentiment is from Pinkfresh Studio and is stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Finally this card front is adhered to a cardstock card base.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #394

Happy friday!

This card is my entry for CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #394.

I used the Little Gingerbread Boy die from Poppystamps and colored the clothes with Copic markers.

Then I blended 3 matching Distress Oxide colors on the edges of the card base.
I used the Diagonal Stitches Cover Panel Die
from Reverse Confetti for the card front and adhered this onto the card base.

Finally I adhered the gingerbread boys and added the sentiment from Altenew with foam tape for dimension.

Inkspirational Challenge #224

Hi friends!

When I saw the Inkspirational Photo I immediately had the Winter Woods Overlay die from Hello Bluebird in my mind.

So I first used this overlay die and colored it with a brown Copic marker.
For the grass I used Nellie Snellen's Grass Border.

For the background I used Distress Oxide ink and blended them.

The sentiment is a d
esign (ID 32715) from the Silhouette Store and is cut 3 times and stacked for dimension.

I also added the ghost from Hello Bluebirds Halloween Tree and the pumpkins from the same set.

CAS(E) this Sketch #395

Hi crafty friends!

I'm popping in with a Christmas card I created for CAS(E) this Sketch #395 at the last moment.

I first colored a piece of cardstock with Ruby Red Altenew ink and die cut the poinsettia from SSS.
Then I used Shadow Creek Altenew ink to color another piece of cardstock and die cut several pine needles from Poppystamps.

On my card base I used purple tape and a circle die to create a mask and stamped the Christmas background from MFT with Silver Stone Altenew ink.
I also stamped the sentiment from Altenew with Industrial Diamond Altenew ink.

I removed the purple tape and circle mask and arranged the pine needles to create the wreath but it was not perfectly round. To solve this, I first made a frame from 2 circle dies and then adhered the pine needles onto the frame.
I also adhered the poinsettia and added a rhinestone on top op it.

Altenew October 2020 Inspiration Challenge

Hi crafty friends!

When I saw Altenew's October Inspiration Challenge I immediately had the With Gratitude set from Altenew in my mind.

For these leaves I used the ink smooshing technique which you can find here.
I used Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint and Wild Honey Distress ink. I picked the ink mixed with water up with a piece of clear acetate and then smooshed it down onto my watercolor paper.
When this was dry I die cut several leaves with the dies from Altenew's With Gratitude.

Next I used the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die also from Altenew and adhered the leaves with foam tape for dimension.

I stamped the sentiment from the With Gratitude set with
Altenew Antique Gold pigment ink and used a tag die from Karin Joan.

Finally I added the gold thread and the bow and adhered the front panel to my card base.

Missees By Karin Joan - Rose

Hi all!

A new sweet Missee is here!
Look at her, her name should be clear:
Roses are red,
so it's simple like that.
This Redhead should be Rose,
with the stereotype freckles scattered around her nose.

For this Missee I first stamped the head and body with Melanie, which is the base set. The eyes and mouth are from Tatjana. Also the hair and necklace are from Tatjana.
Then I colored her with Copic markers and cut her out by hand.

I adhered a piece of patterned paper from the Missees Paper Pad and added this Missee with foam squares for dimension. The sentiment is from the Paper Elements set and is also adhered with foam squares.

Missees By Karin Joan - Violetta

Hi all!

For this Missee I first stamped the head and upper body with Melanie. Then I stamped the eyes and mouth, which are both from Tasha.
The hair and earrings are also from Melanie.
Next I colored her with Copic markers.

For her clothes I used the die from Betty and a patterned paper from the Missees Paper Pad. Then I stamped the sentiment from
STAMPKJ09 with Versafine Onyx Black.

Finally I partially cut her out and adhered her with foam tape to the card base to create some dimension.

This Missee just says everything what is on her mind.
People just love her, but she's really "one of a kind"
She forgets sometimes one crucial thing.
One should think before speaking.
Now, there is just one thing left to do:
Missee Violetta says "Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you."

Missees by Karin Joan - Butterflies

Hi crafty friends,

Today I wanted to show that you can also make something completely different with the Missees products from Karin Joan.

I stamped the butterflies from Betty with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating die to cut them out.
I colored them with Copic markers and a Wink of Stella for some glitter effect.

I arranged them into a circle on my card and adhered them with foam squares for dimension.
The sentiment is from the same set and is stacked 3 times also for dimension.

Missees By Karin Joan - Cassandra

Hi all!

This Missee has a quite boring week.
as bookkeeper, she's a real number-geek.
But once friday is over,
she gets a total turnover.
Stylish, classy and full of passion,
Missee Cassandra loves make-up and fashion.

For this Missee I first stamped the head and upper body with Melanie. The hair, accessories and clothes are from Tatjana and the eyes are from Betty. The mouth is also from Melanie.

Then I colored her with Copic markers and cut her out by hand.

Finally I adhered a piece of patterned paper to the card base as well as some washi tape (WASHIKJ03) and adhered this Missee with foam tape to create some dimension. The sentiment is from the Paper Elements and is also adhere with foam tape.

Missees By Karin Joan - Mia

Hi all!

Because she's quiet, doesn't mean she's shy.
She prefers to be in the background, but supports you when you try.
She believed she could so she did,
that's why she is so proud when the bullseye is hit!
But also when you are the hero of the day,
Yes, you did it, is what Mia would say.

For this Missee I first stamped the head and upper body with Melanie. The eyes and mouth are also from Melanie. The hair is from Miranda.

Then I colored her with Copic markers and partially cut her out.

Next I adhered a piece of patterned paper from the Missees Paper Pad to the card base and adhered this Missee on top of it. I aso added washi tape (WASHIKJ04).

Finally I stamped the sentiment from STAMPKJ08 with Versafine Onyx Black.

Congrats!

Hi crafty friends!

Today I combined 2 challenges to create my card.

I first stamped the flowers and leaves and cut them out by hand.

Then I used a circle die to cut out the circle in the front panel.
Next I used the Bubble Wrap stencil from Altenew, Memento Desert Sand and Toffee Crunch to color the background of the circle.

Finally I assembled my card and used foam squares to adhere the flowers to the card. The sentiment is from the Label Love set from Altenew and is stamped with Altenew Obsidian Black ink.

Missees by Karin Joan - Missing you

Hi crafty friends,

Today I have a Missees card to share with you without featuring a Missee ;-)
I used the arms instead and created a 'missing you' card.

First I die cut 2 arms from Tasha. Then I die cut the nails and accessories.
I colored the nails with a Copic marker and adhered them to the fingers.

Then I colored the tiny watch with a gray gelpen and assembled it, check how cut that watch is ;-)

On the card base I adhered a piece of patterned paper from the Missees Paper Pad and adhered the arms on top of it.
I also added a frame from Altenew's Fine Frame Cover die and added the sentiment which is from Mama Elephant.
