Hieperdepiep Hoera

Hi crafty friends,

Last week it was my little niece's birthday so I made her a similar card as my previous one which you can find here.

I actually used the same balloons in my Silhouette Studio and created a stencil.
With this stencil I blended the balloons with more girly Distress Oxide inks.

Next I stamped the cat from Avery Elle with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut it out.
I drew some strings under the balloons and adhered the cat with foam squares to create some dimension.
Finally I stamped the sentiment from MD with Versafine Onyx Black.

I want to share my card at:

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out several balloons, colored them with Distress Oxide inks, arranged them onto my card and trimmed off the excess.
To give it some dimension I adhered the balloons with foam tape.

The horse stamp is from MD and is colored with Copic markers.

I have a similar card for my little niece's birthday which I will share soon.

Butterfly card

Happy Friday!

Here I have a new card to share with you today!

I first stamped the tiny sentiments from Carlijn Design with Versamark and heat set this with white embossing powder. Then I blended Twisted Citron and Cracked Pistachio and used the Stitched square & circles die from Penny Black to die cut the circle.

Next I stamped the butterfly from MFT and used the coordinating die to cut it out.
I used the same ink, Ocean Waves from Altenew, to color the butterflies in the background.

Finally I used the Wonky Stitched Rectangle die to cut out the card front. I adhered the circle and added the butterfly with foam squares.
The sentiment is heat set with white embossing powder and also adhered with foam squares for dimension.

Happy Birthday

Hi crafty friends,

Today I combined several challenges for my card.

I first stamped the flowers from Uniko with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with Copic markers.
I then cut them out by hand and adhered them on the stitched rectangle die from MFT. I could have stamped these flowers directly onto this die but in the beginning I didn't know exactly what I was going to do.
To add more green to the card I colored the edge of this die with a green Copic marker.

Then I embossed the background with a Craft Concepts embossing folder.

I adhered the rectangle die with the flowers onto this embossed background and added the sentiment from SSS.

Hi crafty friends,

I'm super excited being the guest designer for Challenge Up Your Life this month!

Next I stamped the wood grain background with Winnie & Walter's Into the Woods stamp and Industrial Diamond ink from Altenew.

I then stamped the flowers, colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating die to cut them out.

I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink and adhered the flowers with foam squares for some dimension.

AAA Birthday Challenge #14 - Use Vellum

Hi crafty friends!

I'm back at work since a couple of weeks but many of us are at home more than usual and now have some extra time to craft and make cards. So come and join us at AAA Birthday with the new challenge where you have to use vellum onto your birthday card.

https://aaabirthday.blogspot.com/2020/06/game-14-use-vellum.html

For this card I stamped the Cosmos Bloom Background from SSS on a piece of colored cardstock and heat set this with gold embossing powder.

Next I die cut the Cosmos Stem 3 times and stacked them to create some dimension. I chose to only gold emboss the flower and leave the stem and the middle of the flower white.

On a piece of vellum I gold embossed the sentiment which is from Het Scrapbook Atelier. I love that they have so many beautiful Dutch stamps!

To adhere the vellum to my card I used 2 small golden strips to hide the glue. If you look closely you can still see a small part of the glue peaking out on the bottom but I didn't want to start over again so I left it as is :-)

Finally I adhered everything onto a white card base.

Supplies
- SSS - Cosmos Bloom Background
- Versamark
- Gold embossing powder
- vellum
- SSS - Cosmos Stem
