Today I played with the Beautiful Day stamp set from Altenew and my Zig markers.
I don't have much experience with watercoloring but it's my intention to do it more often this year.
I stamped the flowers and leaves with Versafine Onyx Black ink and colored them with Zig markers. Next I cut them out by hand.
The background is also colored with some water and a Zig marker.
Finally I stamped the sentiment and adhered the flowers and leaves with foam squares for dimension.

You may not have much experience with watercolouring but it sure doesn't show! I love the way you used such soft colours and that lovely background wash really compliments this. And the dimension you added is perfect. So good to see you at Time Out
