Wildflower card

Happy Monday!

Here I have a card to share with you which is based on the sketch of FMS #442.

I first stamped the flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black, did some ink smooshing with Zig markers and cut the flowers out by hand.

The background is from SSS and is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.

The sentiment is from Birch Press Design and is stacked 3 times for dimension.

Wildflower watercolor card

Yesterday I made a watercolor card.
It's something I haven't done much before but I wanted to try my newly bought Zig markers and it was so much fun!

Less Is More - Take 3

For the Less Is More challenge - Take 3 I used the flower from Concord & 9th's Hello Lovely stamp set and cut it out by hand. I colored them with my favorite Copic Markers colors and this is what happened in my craft room.

CAS(E) this Sketch #309

When I saw sketch challenge #309 of Cas(e) this Sketch I didn't immediately know what to do with it.

Then I thought let's use the Blooms Fill-in stamp from Concord & 9th and make 2 cards by splitting the background.

So this is the result. When I compared my cards with the sketch I saw I forgot one square on the left so it's not exactly the same as the sketch but hey, I enjoyed making these cards :)

CAS(E) this Sketch #288

My husband is on a business trip this weekend so I wanted to make him a 'thinking of you' card. I'm sure he'll love it!

First I die cut the butterfly from Concord & 9th and colored the left part with Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover distress ink.
Next I blended the same 2 colors on a small piece of cardstock and sprayed this with shimmer spray to add a little bit of sparkle.

Then I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black and heat set this with clear embossing powder.

Finally I assembled the card and used a black fineliner to create a border.
