AAA Birthday Challenge #15 - 3D

Hi crafty friends!

We kicked off a new challenge today over on the AAA Birthday Challenge blog.
Our new challenge is to create a 3D card.

It's actually my first 3D card ever and I had a great time creating it!

First I created the basic 3D card using a template which I downloaded here.
I blended Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress Oxide ink and also Manatee Lawn Fawn ink to color the background. Next I stamped the Wood Pallet Background with Toffee Crunch Memento ink.

I then die cut the sunflowers from The Greetery and colored them with Copic markers. The grass border is from Nellie Snellen.
Finally I stamped the sentiment from Het Scrapbook Atelier with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Baby girl card

Hi crafty friends!

My daughter's best friend got a new baby sister so I made her a baby card.

First I blended the background with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink. Next I die cut a heart out of this paper and stamped the sentiment with Altenew Antique Gold pigment ink.

Then I inked a piece of paper with the same Distress oxide ink for the onesie. I stamped the onesie with Versamark and heat set this with white embossing powder. I used the matching die to cut it out. I also die cut a heart from the same set and colored it with Altenew Antique Gold pigment ink.

Finally I used foam tape to adhere this panel to the card base.

AAA Birthday challenge #7 - Include A Number

Hello my crafty friends!

I'm excited to tell you about the next new challenge that's just started at AAA Birthday. For this challenge you have to include a number on your card.

https://aaabirthday.blogspot.com/2019/03/game-7-include-number.html

Come along and visit our blog to see what the Design Team has created and a special welcome to Izzy Scrap as this months Guest Designer.

For my card I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the number 70.
Next I stamped the arrows from Winnie & Walter in 4 different Altenew ink colors.
I used the same colors on 4 strips of paper for the background of the number.

I wanted to give my card give some dimension so I used foam tape on the back of my front panel.

Finally I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black.

Guess what, turns out my father-in-law is not turning 70 but 71 lol.
So I'll have to make another card :)
