AAA Birthday Challenge #38 - Flowers

Happy Monday!

Entering June, so we're almost halfway through 2022!
This month the prompt for AAA Birthday Challenge #38 is Flowers!
Who follows me for a longer time knows I absolutely LOVE floral cards!

I first used my Silhouette Studio to weld the Dog Rose digital stamp from Alex Syberia with the background (Silhouette Design Store
ID: 165901) and cut it out.

Then I colored the image with Copic markers and stacked the background together.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from Pinkfresh Studio with Versafine Onyx Black ink and used the coordinating die to cut it out. I adhered it with foam tape to create some dimension.

AAA Birthday Challenge #37 - Let's Party

Happy Monday!

This month we celebrate our 3rd birthday at AAA Birthday Challenge!
So join us in our celebration and we would love you to share a birthday card in our gallery!

I made this clean and simple card for my little niece and I think she'll love this colorful card.

I first stamped the 3 balloons from Clearly Besotted with 3 Altenew inks and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Then I used the same 3 colors and blended them together on the bottom part of the card.

I stamped the 3 strings of the balloons with Versafine Onyx Black and used the same ink to stamp the sentiment.

Finally I added the silver glitter washi tape and adhered the balloons with foam tape to create some dimension.

Happy Monday!

I'm here today to tell you all about the April challenge at AAA Birthday. We challenge you to create a birthday card filled with critters.

For my card I first stamped the toucans from Newton's Nook with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
I used Copic markers to color them.

Then I stamped to floral background from Poppy Stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and also colored it with Copic markers.

I used a pierced circle frame from MFT to cut out a white circle and used a slightly bigger circle for the floral background and glued them together.

Next I blended Twisted Citron distress oxide ink and Just Green Altenew ink to create the background with the Tropical Leaves stencil from Newton's Nook.

I stamped the sentiment with Versamark on a strip of black cardstock and heat set it with white embossing powder. I adhered it on top of the leaves background and on top of this I adhered the circle with foam tape to create some dimension.
Finally I added the toucans also with foam tape.

Happy New Year!

It's the first AAA Birthday Challenge of 2022 and we challenge you to create a birthday card featuring your 2 favourite colours.

To celebrate the New Year, new beginnings and new blog colours AAA Birthday and AAA Cards are having a micro blog hop.

Fancy winning a £10 spend at ........ or a second prize of a mystery parcel? Then play along like this:

1. Comment on both AAA Birthday and AAA Cards first 2022 challenge post.

2. For two extra entries into the draw enter a different card at each of the first 2022 challenges.

To accommodate the different timings of the two challenges the Micro Hop will begin at 8.00am UK time on Sunday 9th January and close at 23.55 UK time on Saturday 22nd January.

You can of course enter cards at AAA Birthday before and after those dates, but they will not be a part of the prize draw.

For my card I chose 2 Distress Oxide colors: Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers.
I blended these colors onto a piece of cardstock and used the Cosmo Flower Petals from SSS to cut out the leaves.

Then I used the same 2 colors to stamp the dotted background which is from Altenew.
I adhered this background onto the cardbase and used foam tape to adhere the flower.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from IO with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

AAA Birthday Challenge #30 - A Slimline Card

Hi all!

it's the first Monday of the month so time for a new challenge at AAA Birthday.
It's a fun one where we challenge you to create a slimline card.
Alex Syberia is sponsoring this challenge with a $10 gift card.

I first played with the design from Alex Syberia in my Silhouette Studio and isolated one flower.
I mirrored some of them so that not all the flowers look the same.
I printed 5 flowers, cut them with my Silhouette Cameo and colored them with Copic markers.

In the corners of the card base I used
Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink and a mini stencil from Tim Holtz.

I adhered the scalloped slimline front from Carlijn Design on top of it and adhered the flowers with foam tape to create some dimension.

The sentiment is from SSS. Here I stacked it several times and used mirror cardstock for the top sentiment. The small sentiment is also from SSS and is heat set with White embossing powder.

AAA Birthday Challenge #29 - Not A Card

Happy monday!

It's the first monday of the month so a new challenge started at AAA Birthday.
This time we challenge you to create not a card.

I made these money holders for the 16th birthday of my twin
niece and nephew.

For the first one I used Design paper from Dear Lizzy.

I stamped the circle from SU with
Peachy Keen Lawn Fawn ink and used the Heather Lowercase die set for the '16'. I also die cut the word 'sweet' and added it on top.
I added a piece of ribbon and a bow to finish it.

AAA Birthday Challenge #28 - Photo Inspiration

Hi crafty friends!

We just started a new challenge over at AAA Birthday. It's a photo inspiration challenge sponsored by Varada Sharma and you can win
$10 digi stamps so come join us and play along.

For my card I used Varada's A Corner in my garden set, used the print and cut function in my Silhouette Studio and colored these flowers with Copic markers.

I then printed the sentiment, which is also from Varada Sharma, on a piece of cardstock and matted this onto a piece of light blue cardstock.

On my card base I used a 3D embossing folder from We R Memory Keepers and adhered everything with foam tape to create some dimension.
