Hello My Sweet Friend
Hi crafty friends,
Here's another card I made today.
I first stamped the flowers with Altenew Obsidian pigment ink and used my Zig markers to color them. I used to coordinating die to cut them out.
The background is inspired by a technique from Channin Pelletier.
I added 3 different colors of Distress Oxide ink onto my water media mat and spritzed them with water. I then used an old gift card to add color to my panel in small swipe actions and in both horizontal and vertical directions.
I adhered this panel onto my card base and stamped the sentiment from Altenew with Obsidian pigment ink.
Finally I adhered the flowers with foam squares to create some dimension.
I want to share my card at:
- The Paper Players #488
- SSS Wednesday Challenge - Flower Power
- The Card Concept #133 - Hello Spring
Supplies
- Technique Tuesday - Kind Cosmo
- Altenew Obsidian pigment ink
- Zig markers: 050, 041, 031
- Distress Oxide ink:
- Mustard Seed
- Twisted Citron
- Tumbled Glass
- Altenew - Sweetest Peas
- Foam squares

Have A Colorful Day
Hi all!
For today's card I was inspired by the colorful Mood Board of Create A Smile.
I stamped the flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black, colored them with Copic markers and cut them out by hand.
Next I stamped the sentiment from Time To Say Thanks with Versafine Onyx Black ink.
Then I used the Tiny Bubbles Stencil from Altenew and Cosmic Shimmer Aurora Sparkle Texture Paste to create the background. I love this sparkle effect!
Finally I adhered the flowers and added some colorful buttons to them.

Magnolias For Her
Hi crafty friends,
I hope you're all safe and doing well in spite these crazy times. I'm grateful that I'm able to escape into my craft room once in a while to make some cards.
Today I made this floral card with the Magnolias For Her stamp set from Altenew. I stamped some flowers with Versamark and heat set them with gold embossing powder. I also made a mask of the flowers and leaves so that I could stamp some other flowers and leaves.
Eventually I chose 3 flowers which I colored with Copic markers.
The sentiment is from Carlijn Design and is adhered with foam tape to give it some dimension.
I want to share my card at:
- Color Throwdown #588
- Inkspirational #210 - Spring
- Challenge Up Your Life #122 - Flowers
Supplies
- Altenew - Magnolias For Her
- Versamark

AAA Birthday Challenge #12 - Dots and/or Stripes
Hello there! I hope everyone is staying well and safe during this Corona Virus outbreak. Things are scary
out there so I hope this will pass soon!
The good thing about this is that we now have much more time to craft :)
So I challenge you to join AAA Birthday this month and create a card with dots and/or stripes.
We have Barbara (Foldzik) joining us as our guest. Don't forget to check out the gorgeous card she created and join us at the challenge. Also check the amazing cards created by the Design Team.
I wanted to create a striped background with loose stripes so I used a Black Ecoline Brush pen en drew some lines.
Next I created the dotted background with Altenews Dainty Swiss Dots stamp and heat set this with white embossing powder.
I die cut and layered the sunflower from SSS 3 times for some dimension.
I left the leaves and the middle of the flower white and colored only the petals of the flower with Copic markers.
I really love this black/white/yellow color combination.
Finally I stamped the sentiment from Circle Sayings with Versamark en heat set this with white embossing powder. I adhered it with foam tape to also create some dimension.
Supplies
- SSS - Sunflower Stem
- Altenew - Dainty Swiss Dots
- Versamark
- White embossing powder
- SSS - Circle Sayings
- Black Ecoline Brush Pen
- Copic markers: Y06, Y08, Y15
