Happy Birthday Neva!

Hi all!

My little niece is turning 3 and she loves glitter and pink. So I made her a CAS birthday card containing these elements :-)

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the number 3 (font: Engravers MT) and made a strip from the same patterned paper.
I also cut out a star from gold glitter paper by using my Silhouette machine.

I adhered them on a pink circle which I die cut with a circle die.

For the background I used the
Dotted Scales Debossing cover die from Altenew and I love the pierced details on this one.

Rachel Vass Designs - Wildflowers

Hi crafty friends!

Rachel Vass Designs released some beautiful flowers in her latest release so I couldn't wait to play with them.

Rachel Vass Designs - Wildflowers

I chose one flower from this set, played with my Silhouette Cameo and came up with this design.
I colored the flower with Copic markers and used
Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink with the Tiny Dots Stencil from SSS for the background.
I also used the Wonky Stitched Rectangle die from MFT for the front panel and adhered this with foam tape to the card base to create some dimension.

AAA Birthday Challenge #24 - A Shaped Card

Hi everyone!

Another month, another game to play along with. This month we challenge you to create a shaped card, so let's see what you can come up with. Here's my take on this challenge.

I created this dinosaur card for a little boy.

Dinosaur shaped card

I used the dinosaur (Silhouette Design ID 135707) from the Silhouette Store and modified it slightly.
I colored the dinosaur parts with Volcano Lake and Emerald Altenew ink. For the offset of the dinosaur I used
Manatee Lawn Fawn ink. For the eye I used a googly eye as I think this would be a funny touch :-)

For the background of the card I used the Leafy Frame stencil from SSS and blended Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink.

I adhered everyting and stamped the sentiment from SU with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Rachel Vass Designs - Spring Flowers Slimline

Hi crafty friends!

Today I'm sharing a card made using the Spring Flowers slimline digital stamp set from the March release from RachelVassDesign. I love these flowers!

Rachel Vass Designs - Spring Flowers Slimline

I used the print and cut function in my Silhouette Cameo to cut out these flowers. They were print on watercolor paper and colored with Zig markers.

I printed the sentiment from the same digital set on the card front and added some ink splatters on it. I adhered the flowers to the card front and cut off the excess.

For the card base I used the Slim diagonal stitched rectangles from Pinkfresh Studio.

Rachel Vass Designs - Freshly Picked

Hi crafty friends!

Today I'm featuring the Freshly Picked digital stamp set from the March release from Rachel Vass Designs.

Rachel Vass Designs - Freshly Picked

I first used the print and cut function in my Silhouette Cameo to cut out this floral image. It was printed on watercolor paper and colored with Zig markers.

Then I used some matching Distress Oxide inks and blended them onto a piece of cardstock. I used a circle die which was slightly bigger than the flowers and used a Gemstone embossing folder to give this some dimension.

When assembling my card I used foam tape for the blended strip and the flowers and adhered the other part of the circle behind the flowers.

The sentiment is from the same digital set and was also print and cut.

Rachel Vass Designs - Ruffle Flowers Background

Happy Wednesday!

It's the 3rd of the month so it's release day over at RachelVassDesigns!  She has done it again and this release is filled with some beautiful floral!

This card is made using the Ruffle Flowers Background digital stamp from Rachel Vass Designs.

Rachel Vass Designs - Romantic Ruffle Background

I was inspired by the 'I Love You' sentiment from this digital release so I decided to create a heart on my card.
I played in my Silhouette Studio and modified the Romantic Ruffle Background to a heart shape. I added the sentiment and printed this.

Then I
used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the heart shaped stencil in which I  stenciled the Gradiating Stripes from Pinkfresh Studio with Distress Oxide inks.

Hieperdepiep Hoera

Hi crafty friends,

Last week it was my little niece's birthday so I made her a similar card as my previous one which you can find here.

I actually used the same balloons in my Silhouette Studio and created a stencil.
With this stencil I blended the balloons with more girly Distress Oxide inks.

Next I stamped the cat from Avery Elle with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut it out.
I drew some strings under the balloons and adhered the cat with foam squares to create some dimension.
Finally I stamped the sentiment from MD with Versafine Onyx Black.

I want to share my card at:

Smile It's Your Birthday

Happy Saturday!

My card for today is based on the Circle theme from Addicted to CAS and the colors from CAS Colours & Sketches #362.

In our kitchen we have a magnetic board with smiley face emoji magnets.
That's where I found my inspiration for the circle part.
I searched the internet for smiley faces and found 2 smileys I was happy with. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut them out.
On the photo it looks like a red smiley but IRL it's more like a dark pink color.

The background is stamped with Halftone Circles from Altenew and Memento Summer Sky.
The sentiment is from MFT and is stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.

Finally I adhered the 2 smiley faces with foam tape for some dimension.

Rainbow colored CAS card

Hi all!

My card for today is made with my Silhouette Cameo.

I made a design in Silhouette Studio and cut out the small strips with my Silhouette Cameo. I stacked them 3 times to give them some dimension. I first didn't know which colors to use so then I thought rainbow colors would be a good idea :p
I used my Copic markers to color the strips in rainbow colors.

The sentiment is from Altenew and is stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.
